Meetings: We meet the second Tuesday of every month from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the First Street Center in Waconia. Meetings are open to the public and we encourage people with interests in mental health needs and services to attend.
There are currently 2 roles that need to be filled on the Mental Health Advisory Council. The vacancies are:
* A representative of the children's mental health local coordinating council
*A family community support services program representative

Carver County Mental Health Advisory Council Mission Statement
Our mission is to advise the Carver County commissioners regarding mental health policies, programs, and needs. We continually review and evaluate existing services, and listen to mental health consumers, providers, and organizations in order to determine unmet needs within the county.
