Some adults and juveniles are given the opportunity to complete community service as a result of their court involvement. Carver County Court Services views this as an opportunity to engage individuals in their communities and provide restoration for offenses committed.  There are parameters around what can be accepted for community service obligations. It is important once you have located a community service opportunity that you communicate to get approval of the site from your agent. A list of site options and locations is available at the Court Services office.

If you have questions about juvenile community service, how to get connected with a community service provider, or are a community service provider interested in working with Carver County youth, please contact Agent Ryan Jaehnert at

If you are an adult sentenced to community service, please contact your agent once you have found a work site.
