Give feedback on Hwy 5 Trail
The Parks Department is hosting an Open House on the Highway 5 Regional Trail Master Plan from 5-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, at the Chanhassen Recreation Center Warming House, located adjacent to the Outdoor Pavilion, 2310 Coulter Boulevard, Chanhassen.
The public is invited to learn about the development of a regional trail corridor along Highway 5 from County Road 101 to Rolling Acres Road in Carver County during this event. Trail alignment alternatives will be presented and input from the public is welcomed and encouraged. This is an opportunity to share your ideas for a regional trail along the Highway 5 corridor.
The open house will include: an opportunity to review and comment on project materials and have an interactive discussion with the staff and activities for youth, ages five and older (while parents participate in the discussion).
If you are unable to attend the open house, your comments and questions are still welcome. For more information, or to submit a comment, contact Martin Walsh, Park Director, Carver County Public Works Building, 11360 Highway 212, Cologne, MN 55322 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Individuals who need language translation services or special accommodations to participate in this public meeting are asked to contact Walsh at 952-566-5252 as soon as possible to arrange for this service.
