Restrictions on Lake Hazeltine Enacted
All water surface use strictly prohibited during KPMG Women's PGA June 18-24
CHASKA, Minn.—Carver County enacted craft operation restrictions on Lake Hazeltine in conjunction with the upcoming KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
All water surface use is strictly prohibited on Lake Hazeltine, starting on June 18 (12:01 a.m.) through June 24 (11:59 p.m.). Unless specifically authorized, no one will be allowed to operate a boat, canoe, kayak, tube or craft on Lake Hazeltine, or land a plane on the lake, during this time. The Carver County Sheriff’s Office, City of Chaska Police, other local agencies and state Department of Natural Resources, will enforce the restriction, including issuing citations and removing offenders from the area.
The event, held at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, runs June 18-23, with competition rounds starting on Thursday, June 20. No County or City roads will be closed during the event, and all parking will occur on-site at the golf club.
