Agricultural & Marine Plastic Wrap Recycling

Post Date:01/23/2019 3:14 PM

Are you a Carver County farmer, greenhouse operator or boat storage facility that generates large amounts of plastic wrap?  If so, would you like to cut down on your disposal costs while helping the environment?

Carver County Environmental Services is partnering with Revolution Plastics and Mid-County Coop to reduce the amount of plastic waste going to landfills through a new recycling program!  Participants gather their plastics and place them into recapture bags and drop them off at Mid-County Coop twice a year to be recycled by Revolution Plastics.

Residents of Carver County are eligible to pick up a free starter pack of recapture bags.  Each starter pack consists of five (5) 8' x 10' recapture bags, with each bag being able to hold up to 200 pounds of plastic.

For more information on the program, visit www.revolutionplastics.com.  If you are interested in joining the program, or have any questions, please contact Monica Johnson at 952-361-1823.
