2003

The sixth annual Metro Children’s Water Festival was held on September 24, 2003,See the 2003 Photo Album at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. The Festival was designed to provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn about a wide variety of topics related to water and the environment. An example of some of the topics are listed below:

  • The Mystery of the Disappearing Waterfall
  • The Secret Insides of Fishes
  • People’s Impact on the Water and Land
  • The Water Beneath Our Feet

Swimmer pops up from under the waterAn estimated 1,300 fifth grade students from the seven metropolitan twin cities area counties attended to celebrate our most precious resource: water. This year’s presentations appeared to be the best yet.
