EMPLOYEE RELATIONS DEPARTMENT
Under the Direction of the Employee Relations Director, the Employee Relations Department operates the essential functions for compensation administration, development and maintenance of personnel policies, the County's benefits plans; recruitment, selection and retention; training and development; labor negotiations, and any personnel-related issues.
The role of Risk Management in Employee Relations includes many risk and insurance items such as contract review, insurance premiums and claims, and liability analysis. The department is also involved in the areas of accident prevention, ergonomics, hazard recognition for employees and buildings, injury/case management, worker's compensation claims and AWAIR/OSHA compliance training.
The members of the Employee Relations Division are committed to providing a safe, helpful and enjoyable environment for the County's employees, visitors and patrons.
