Eric Johnson, Interim Director
Welcome! Court Services provides probation supervision services for the First Judicial District and Carver County, including adult and juvenile offender assessments, case planning and programming, coordination of sanctions and treatment referrals, and other local correctional services. Our supervision strategies ultimately promote public safety through accountability, risk reduction, competency development and restorative justice approaches. In addition, Court Services serves as a liaison to other local and state agencies of the justice system to encourage system-wide policy and program planning through such forums as the statewide Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) Policy Team, the Minnesota Association of County Probation Officers (MACPO) and other correctional organizations.
For more information on our local services and supervision principles and practices, please review the additional links listed in the upper left side of this web page. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact a Court Services Agent or staff member at the number or address provided below. Thank you for your interest in the field of probation, corrections and community supervision.
